My '73 died yesterday and won't start. I want to see if the clutch lock out switch (the one that requires the clutch pedal to be depressed to start the car) could be bad. Has anyone ever bypassed this switch? If so, how is that done?
I have seen bad things happen when the clutch switch is bypassed.with that said just unplug the switch and jump the two wires in the wiring harness going to the switch together (not the switch) this is for testing only.
