First take the headlight cover off...The one that is inside/down when the lights are off. To do that you must unplu the motor conection. Once you have it off Loosen the 4 10mm bolts that hold the door (the flat cover) and plug the conector in for a couple of seconds to seat itNow carefully tap on the coners from either inside or outside as needed till you get it where you want it...also watch the gap around the door. Once everything is how you want it tighten the 10mm bolts and make certain it didn't move while tightening. Replace cover and do the other side.
You might need to adjust the stops if it is too far out. They look like plastic bolt heads that contact the underside of the hood to stop travel. They realy need to be done with the motor unplugged and turning the emergancy knob to releive tension before turning.
Why am i nuts???
I wouldn't want to give my-self time to think about the years i spent designing how i wanted it to turn out, making custom parts, and tearing it down and rebuilding every last part on it.
I figure i spent about 30K in parts and paint as well as over a 1000hrs labor on this car. The insurance company just appraised it at 43K...shocked me and them!
I am in a bad place right now and about 12K would pay off 1/4 of my mortgage principal allowing me to renegotiate my position and ultimately reduce my total pay-off by over 50%. A decent 95 Pace-car would be about 20K and i could build a light-bar and stuff for it to completely copy the actual track car.... So what is nuts???
