Z06 Manual to Auto Conversion?

I have a 2007 Z06 and was wondering is it possible to convert to automatic transmission? I'm sure it might be a nightmare but is it possible?

Why in the would you want to do that. An automatic takes all the fun out of having a sports car IMO.

Well, that is the one thing that alot of people that buy the Z want is the auto. But I highly doubt that that is going to happen for the Z!!

I would say that GM will someday do it because there are alot of people that would like to see a Z06 in an auto and with the sales of GM not soo hot, I think we will see it soon.

It is definately possible, but there are several issues to be worked out. Phisycally bolting in the required parts is one thing, but programming would be another issue. We could do it, but it wouldn't be cheap.
