Does anyone have experience troubleshooting the C6 convertible power top? My 2005 will retract and then stops about half way. It sounds like it is still trying to work, but it won't retract further. If anyone has access to a trouble shooting guide or has first hand experience, I would appreciate the help. Hydraulics? Sensors? I'm just trying to start somewhere!

No trouble with mine... yet.

Has yours EVER worked properly? Mine does hesitate as the tonneau goes up or down but it does continue to move after a few seconds. I thought I remembered a post from months ago. I thought it said someone had a problem and had to add some fluid but don't hold me to that. I don't even know for sure if fluid can be added. When putting the top up, mine does leave a gap of about an inch between the top of the front window and the top itself. It is very easy to pull it down the rest of the way and twist the locking mechanism.

I have an 07. When I first got it, I thought the closing was wierd, so I took it to the dealer. They adjusted it, and now it works the way I believe it ought to. Before when it closed, it ended up open about 3-4 inches and you had to pull pretty hard on the handle to close it. All that adjusted out, but it was the dealer that did it.

Being a 2005 (only 21K miles), I don't think the warranty is good (3yr/36K). I'll just have to take a closer look. At this point, the manual says to loosen the pwr top pump pressure bolt and then retighten to get the top down. I'm sure I can't be the only one with this issue, so I'll keep searching and posting. Thanks...

Had that selfsame problem After playing with finding top fluid, finding the reservoir, finding the allen wrench to open the screw only to find the reservoir was full, I gave up. Took the beast to Corvette Masters in Maitland, Fl to let the geniuses there take over. Seems there is a microswitch on the #3 top bow that tells the computer the state of the top. They ordered a new switch from GM. Problem is the switch does not come with an actuating arm (which fell off into a black hole, never to be found). Now they start searching and end up finding a new harness on E-bay. Once everything was re-installed, the top works great. Thanks to Robby Hooper for his persistence, expertise and quality workmanship, all is well in Z51 world. Cheers! Jim
