Question Worst C6 Year vs Best C6 Year?

Time to stir the pot a little.

What year C6 do you think is the worst, and what year do you think is the best C6?

Post up your reasoning for both.

I'm the new guy here and I'm sure I might get around a little, or walk around the corner and have waiting for me.

They are all Corvettes... The only year I'd avoid is the first year, and even then if the deal was good enough I wouldn't mind.

Just perfect! I have a 2005

You are right, first new models always seem to have more problems. I like the car so that is what counts.

It's a C6, their is no bad year.

I have to admit, I sure wouldn't mind an LS3 C6.

05' millennium yellow/1SB/Z51; CCW 505s/Z06 size Invos, Koni FSDs, MGW shifter, lowered on stock bolts, wart removed, mucho DSV.

We have the best wheel. Hate the shift to reverse, but love the 'all'.

If you've worked for a while in the automotive industry you would heed the above advice and stay away from the first year of a new model intro. My background was in materials manangement (and I also managed the the intro of major product change in the heavy duty diesel engine market.) Let's just say sometimes decisions are consiously made and unconsciously made that involve the cost of delay vs. the cost of not delay. And sometimes the wrong decisions get made and product ends up in the customers' hands that fails to meet expectations. These get corrected as time goes on and eventually it's up to snuff. My experience was in the 1980's and early 1990's and I would expect it's better now but not by a whole lot.

By the way, my second Corvette was an early '97 (go figure) and I also had a 1994 Dodge Ram and a 1998 Dodge Intrepid (Company car)!!!! All first years after major re-intro's. The Ram was junk, the '97 C5 had it's share of issues. But the Intrepid was flawless for 100,000 miles. So you can luck out with good product but I think the odds are better in year 2 or year 3.
