WAXES & SEALANTS
top
Detail tip for all waxes and sealants: We suggest that you first wash the vehicle with The Boss Wash & Gloss. For optimal results, prep your paint's surface properly using our Signature Detail Spray as a lubricant (reducing friction between the clay bar and the surface) and complete the clay bar process. Should your surface require special attention, refer to our Paint Prep Cleaner Polish or Foundation Formulation. The final step will be to apply the wax of your choice.
All In #1 Intense Wax
One of our most popular waxes among our Corvette owners! With its outstanding ability to seal AND shine, our All In #1 Intense Wax guarantees to take your car's finish to the next level of surface protection and extraordinary shine! Its superior blend of specially formulated polymers, resins, UV blockers, and the finest Brazilian #1 white carnauba promises to deliver longevity, durability, and superb water beading properties, bonding to your paint with sensational eye-popping results.** Just apply a thin layer with our Micro Fiber Applicator and remove with our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel. Try this product and experience paint perfection that any Corvette lover can be amazingly proud of! Refresh when needed with our Signature Detail Spray using our Elite Micro Fiber Polishing Towel.
Detail fact: Waxes formulated with the key ingredient carnauba are considered the most durable waxes available. Carnauba enhances the durability and protects against harmful elements while at the same time providing a deep gloss finish to your Corvette's paint.
Also, many wonder if a paste wax affords different results than its partner, a liquid wax. Both types of wax will provide the same protection and eye-popping results. It all boils down to a matter of personal preference. Many Corvette lovers find spending the day with their baby and a jar of paste wax is quite fulfilling while others enjoy the ease and speed of the liquid application.
How often should you wax? Because of today's Corvette clear coat technology, it has become increasingly difficult to determine when your paint will need additional waxing. We recommend that our Corvette owners maintain a regular car care schedule for maximum protection, but for those of you who thrive to maintain that daily showroom shine, we recommend the personal touch test. That is, when the removal of our Signature Detail Spray becomes difficult and resistant, it's time for a new wax application! Again, your personal desires play a role in this.
How beneficial are several coats of wax? As with any surface, there will come a point where your Corvette surface will not benefit from multi layers of wax. At some point, further applications of any wax will simply become excessive, and you will begin to remove rather than add because there will be nothing for the additional application to adhere to. We recommend to our Corvette owners that no more than 2 applications will give them the depth, clarity, and gloss that they strive to achieve.
How do I remove wax from my trim pieces? The best way to remove wax from vinyl, rubber, and other trim pieces on your Corvette is by spraying a fine mist of our Signature Detail Spray on the affected area and gently wiping with one of our Elite Micro Fiber Towels. You can then apply our Vinyl & Rubber Protector to these components.
**As with all car care products, many factors come into play when determining longevity and durability of a product. Waxes and sealants are no exception. You need to take into consideration the quality of wax, quality and quantity of car wash solution, condition of the paint, age of the paint, environmental conditions (normal vs. extreme), amount of time the paint is exposed to the sun (garage kept or exposed to the elements 24/7), hand washed or automated car wash and your surface prep work. It is also important to keep in mind that no two car finishes are alike. What works for one finish may not work as well for another so experiment to determine which combination of our products is best for your Corvette's surface.
Bulletproof Paint Sealant
A favorite among Corvette detailers, this unique super-sealant is specially formulated to bond molecularly to your Corvette's paint surface, delivering an unmatched high level of gloss, protection, and a virtually impenetrable shield. What does this mean for you? This is the finest protection available for your new and old paint, fiberglass, chrome, aluminum, plastic, and alloy, giving you the ultimate reflective finish.** This easy to use product with its amazing wet mirror finish will not crack, fade, or discolor.
Detail tip: For ultimate protection from harmful environmental contaminants and UV rays, apply 2 thin coats to a perfectly prepped surface using our Micro Fiber Applicator. Allow 15-20 minutes for this product to effectively bond to the surface before removing first coat using our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel. Wait 20 minutes before applying second coat. Bulletproof must be applied by hand only! We strongly recommend applying one of our superior waxes as a final step to achieve the most spectacular, superior shine! We advise that a sealant should never take the place of a great wax detail but compliment it.
Heavy Metal Polish
This extraordinary polish will restore the original shine and luster fast and easy to various Corvette components, giving you the results others only dream about. It will safely clean, polish and protect chrome, copper, aluminum, brass and stainless steel surfaces. Our Heavy Metal Polish will cut through brake dust, oil deposits, and other dulling elements that detract from the perfect Corvette without scratching. It will even remove stubborn water spots when applied by hand, producing an amazing reflective mirror-like shine every time.
Detail tip: This product can be applied in the sun or shade and will leave no residue behind. Although we recommend hand application, it can be applied using the Flex or Rotary Polisher Buffer.
Platinum 44 Wax
A wax definitely created with the Corvette competitor in mind. It's SHOWTIME! Enjoy incredible color, superb clarity, and enhanced depth of the Corvette's rich paint with this wax. We are very proud of our newest wax! Platinum 44 will far exceed your expectations when it comes to liquid waxes. The special blend of cross-linking polymers and an enormous amount of gloss enhancers make this product truly stand out.** Add in the property of pure white carnauba, and Platinum 44 will give you an unbelievably deep, rich luster and provide amazing brilliance under any light. Try this product on your Corvette and experience paint perfection. Just apply a thin layer with our Micro Fiber Applicator and remove with our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel.
By blending polymers and gloss enhancers with carnauba, this product offers unbelievable protection against surface contaminants and oxidation while providing unbeatable shine and superior durability.
Also, many wonder if a paste wax affords different results than its partner, a liquid wax. Both types of wax will provide the same protection and eye-popping results. It all boils down to a matter of personal preference. Sprayable Acrylic Sealant
Finally a product formulated for the Corvette professional detailer as well as the Corvette enthusiast that not only seals but can also prevent water spotting that so many of us experience from time to time! Our Sprayable Acrylic Sealant is a blend of glossing agents and ultra reflective polymers that deliver a wet shine seal that can be used alone or partnered with one of our waxes for an enhanced shine. Definitely a detailer's secret.
Detail tip: For ultimate results, apply a fine mist on a Micro Fiber Applicator Pad to a perfectly prepped surface. Use a front and back motion on the top panels and an up and down motion on the side panels. You may remove immediately or allow the product to haze over, but we do recommend using our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel to remove and buff your surface for optimum results.
Velvet Paste Wax
Take your Corvette paint to another level of perfection! Our Velvet Paste Wax is specifically designed for the Corvette owner who demands the MAXIMUM "wet-look" shine. The amazing blend of natural oils, polymers, and white carnauba wax will give your paint an unparalleled shimmer and shine.** This formulation will produce unbelievable depth and color on all paint colors, especially on black and metallics! Its rich carnauba content allows for easy on easy off application by applying a very thin layer by hand using our Micro Fiber Applicator Pad or any one of our detailing machines using our Elite Waxing Pad, then buffing using our Elite Micro Fiber Polishing Towel. Try this product and experience paint perfection that only Corvette owners can appreciate. Refresh your Corvette's finish and shine when needed with our Signature Detail Spray using our Elite Micro Fiber Polishing Towel.

DRESSINGS

Black Tie Shine
Troubled by those unsightly fading trim pieces on your Corvette? Our Black Tie Shine formulation will restore trim moldings, engine components, valances, and other "once black" parts back to the way there were meant to be seen while protecting them against damaging UV rays. This non-greasy product will add shine instantly to those graying areas that detract from the perfect Corvette detail. Black Tie Shine is the best conditioner you will find in an aerosol can! (Because this is an aerosol product, please read the information on the can carefully.)
Detail tip: Simply shake and spray lightly. Gently wipe off excess if desired. It is important not to overspray and keep away from clear plastic parts. May be used on air vents but not on instrument panels. Easily remove any overspray from painted surfaces with our Huge Elite Micro Fiber Towel.
Dirt Paint Undercarriage Dressing
Everyone knows Corvette owners are perfectionists when it comes to detailing every square inch of their vehicle. This product is a real SHOW STOPPER…A MUST SEE, MUST HAVE PRODUCT as claimed by our Corvette customers! We all try to get our wheel wells, suspension components, and other exposed undercarriage "once black" parts back to a semi-new finish, and now you CAN! Dirt Paint’s formulation and easy application will deliver the perfect deep shine to these areas while protecting them from damaging elements.
Detail tip: We recommend cleaning all visible undercarriage components with our Slime & Grime Remover. After using a compressor or leaf blower to dry these parts, spray a generous amount of Dirt Paint on all the undercarriage parts you would like black again. Allow 5-10 minutes for the product to dry before moving the car so you don't kick up dust and have it stick to the finish. If desired, you may wipe the excess with a cotton towel. Re-apply as needed. CAUTION! Avoid getting this product on your garage floor. It is oily and you could slip and fall!
Sprayable Vinyl & Rubber Protector
This product is a sprayable version of our Vinyl & Rubber Protector (maintaining the same combination of complex conditioning agents and polymers) but leaves behind a rich, silky shimmer for those Corvette lovers who prefer the shine! It still maintains that dry to the touch quality leaving your unpainted vinyl and rubber surfaces protected from harmful contaminants. This easy-to-use product will restore and condition with each application.
Detail tip: For those that love the ultimate shine on surfaces like dashboards, steering wheels, door panels, etc., we recommend applying a second layer of this product and buffing with our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel. Just spray, wipe, and buff!
Vinyl & Rubber Protector
When it comes to preserving and revitalizing your Corvette's vinyl and rubber components, our Vinyl & Rubber Protector with its complex combination of conditioning agents and polymers is perfect for your Corvette's vinyl and rubber components. This product is especially designed for the Corvette lover that yearns for the clean new look of rubber and vinyl without the wet shine look. This superior easy-to-use durable dressing not only guards against damaging UV rays that cause aging, cracking, and fading but also rejuvenates all vinyl and rubber surfaces restoring life and color without leaving that bothersome oily feeling. Our Vinyl & Rubber Protector is dry to the touch and leaves a rich, natural sheen to Corvette surfaces like dashboards, door panels and moldings, tires, rubber trim pieces, bumpers, and vinyl seats.
Detail tip: We recommend cleaning your surfaces before applying this product. This is NOT a cleaner. Use only on unpainted rubber or vinyl. For best results, simply apply a small amount of Vinyl & Rubber Protector to our uniquely designed Durafoam Applicator Pad, apply to the surface with even swipes and let dry. If desired, you may buff surfaces using our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel. (Do NOT use micro fiber towels on tires.) We recommend using this product at least once a month to guarantee optimal surface protection.
CLEANERS AND DEGREASERS

Clay Bar Kit
Whether you are new to car care or have been pampering your Corvette for decades, taking proper care of your Vette's surfaces should be your prime objective from its paint finish to glass and chrome pieces. Environmental contaminants affect all paint finishes, and if left unattended over time, can cause irreversible damage. Contaminants such as paint overspray, tree sap, brake dust, oxidation from acid rain, and bug remains leave a rough texture on surfaces that cannot be removed just by washing. Thus, a simple little product developed in Japan in the early 1990's quickly became the most effective product to safely remove these microscopic elements. This product is the Clay Bar. This amazing product magically pulls bonded contaminants off the surface in an instant without any abrasive action providing you with a smooth, clean finish, making waxing easier and more durable. Think of this process as a deep cleaning without the aid of harsh chemicals! Our kit includes 1 Elite Super Plush Micro Fiber Towel, a 16 oz. bottle of Signature Detail Spray, and 1 Clay Bar.
Detail tip: We suggest that you first wash the vehicle with The Boss Wash & Gloss. For optimal results, prep your paint's surface properly using our Signature Detail Spray as a lubricant (reducing friction between the clay bar and the surface) and complete the clay bar process. Note that water is NOT a good lubricant and will compromise the effectiveness of the clay bar. This is why we have included our Signature Detail Spray (an excellent lubricant) in this kit. Should your surface require special attention, refer to our Paint Prep Cleaner Polish or Foundation Formulation. The final step will be to apply the wax of your choice.
How do I know when and how often to use the clay bar? Simply perform the baggie test! Place your hand inside a baggie and run your fingertips across your Corvette's surface. If it feels bumpy and rough, you have harmful contaminants that have bonded to your surface, and you definitely need to clay bar! Environmental elements that affect your Corvette's surface will determine how often you will need to perform the clay bar process. Some owners clay their Vette after each wash while others schedule this task every 3 months. Remember, this process is performed prior to the surface prep and waxing process.
Will the clay bar remove old wax? The clay bar is designed to remove all surface contaminants bonded to your Corvette's surface along with your wax protection. However, keep in mind that claying will not remove scratches, swirls, oxidation, and surface imperfections. This is why we strongly recommend following the clay bar process with the surface prep process if required. However, if your Corvette paint is in pristine condition after claying, follow-up with a good coat of wax for maximum protection.
Glass Cleaner
Streak and ammonia free, our 100% non-toxic glass cleaner is safe for use on your Corvette's window tint, headlamp covers, and tail lights. It also does a superb job removing that annoying film from the inside of the windshield. Unlike some glass cleaners, ours is not watered down and is specially formulated to deliver a crystal clear shine, taking clarity to a new level. The Detail Dude's Glass Cleaner does not have to be restricted to just the glass in your car. Try it on your household windows, mirrors, AND shower doors. Watch that nasty soap scum easily disappear before your eyes with little effort.
Detail fact: For all you Corvette fanatics that yearn for those "showroom clear" windows all the time, we recommend using our Clay Bar to clean the outside of all your windows followed by a thin application of our All In #1 Intense Wax using our Micro Fiber Applicator Pad. Buff using our Elite Super Plush Micro Fiber Towel and enjoy unsurpassed clarity. Apply our Glass Cleaner using our Elite Micro Fiber Polishing Towel to maintain clarity and sparkle.
Signature Detail Spray
This next generation Detail Spray is uniquely formulated using gloss-enhancing polymers, carnauba, and high gloss synthetics that will give your Corvette's finish an instant burst of eye-popping shine and will also enhance wax protection. Its high lubricity formula is strong enough to break down dirt, bird droppings, and road grime yet gentle enough to be used on the Corvette's clear coat, chrome, plastic, rubber, and fiberglass components to maintain that glossy, just waxed appearance between washings. Our Signature Detail Spray is ideal for quick detailing touch-ups as well as an excellent lubricant for the clay bar process. For ultimate results, use with our superior Micro Fiber Polishing Towel.
Detail tip: By making our Signature Detail Spray part of your Corvette's daily maintenance program, you will dramatically extend the life of your paint's finish. Immediately removing harmful environmental contaminants before they have time to bond to your paint will ensure excellent protection from damaging agents. The professional way of preventing damage to your Corvette's paint is by removing fresh stains, water spots, bug splatter, and bird droppings immediately! We recommend keeping a sample-sized bottle of our Signature Detail Spray along with our Micro Fiber Polishing Towel in the glove box of your Corvette so that at a moment's notice you will have immediate access to the proper tools to remove damaging agents that occur instantaneously. Once our Signature Detail Spray becomes slightly more difficult to remove, this is an excellent indicator that your wax protection is breaking down and it's time to re-wax!
Detail fact: Never assume your Corvette's clear coat will never become dull looking. (This is typically the first sign of the onset of oxidation!) Environmental contaminants such as acid rain, bug splatters, bird droppings, and overall airborne pollutants can build up on your Corvette's clear coat thus reducing its reflective qualities. The safest and quickest way to remove these contaminants IMMEDIATELY is by using our Signature Detail Spray. (Of course, we always recommend routinely washing your Corvette using our specially formulated The Boss Wash & Gloss followed by the clay bar procedure for thorough removal of these damaging agents.)
Slime & Grime Remover
You can bet even the Ghostbusters would buy gallons of this stuff! If you are looking for a cleaner/degreaser that can replace about half those costly specialized products you have in your Corvette's car care arsenal, you have definitely found it with this product! This highly concentrated formula is designed to work safely and effectively on a multitude of interior and exterior surfaces of your Corvette. Just mix with water to your desired strength, and you will have a product that is gentle enough to use on your fabric interior or strong enough to break down the toughest grease, saving you time and money. From tires, wheel wells, suspension components, and door jams to carpet, vinyl, and leather...Slime & Grime's performance will exceed your expectations! You can even use it to clean your garage floor.
Detail tip: Heavy brake dust on wheels is a Corvette lover's biggest pet peeve! Just mix, spray on, and sit back while Slime & Grime works its magic! There should be no need to scrub, but if necessary, just take a sponge and wipe away. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. When in doubt, we recommend starting with a ratio of 10:1. For those lighter cleaning jobs, most start with 5:1. For those really stubborn jobs, we recommend 4:1. The ratio combinations are limitless with Slime & Grime! CAUTION: Be sure to avoid spraying this product directly onto electrical components like your alternator and wire harness connectors.
LEATHER AND INTERIOR CARE

COWditioner Leather Conditioner
Ever wonder how to maintain the natural fresh beauty of fine luxurious Corvette leather once you leave the dealership? Well, wonder no more! We've packed the smell of leather, powerful UV blockers, and vital conditioning agents all in one bottle. Our easy to use pH-balanced COWditioner formulation enriched with Vitamin E and Aloe will leave your leather looking rich and natural, while the effective UV blockers will prevent premature surface fading, aging, and cracking. Don't hesitate to use this amazing product on your Corvette's vinyl surfaces also. You will love this product!
Detail tip: For superior results, we recommend using our Leather Lather Leather Cleaner before conditioning. Apply this product using our Micro Fiber Applicator Pad, gently working the product into the leather. Allow the leather to absorb the conditioner before buffing with our Elite Super Plush Micro Fiber Towel. Pamper, protect, and enjoy the luxury of Corvette leather.
Fabric & Interior Cleaner
Our Fabric & Interior Cleaner is the fastest and strongest spot and stain remover you will find. Its highly concentrated, biodegradable formulation doesn't require 200 degree water or an expensive machine and is gentle for your Corvette interior. Just mix with water to your desired strength (most begin with a ratio of 10:1). It contains no harsh chemicals, ammonia, or bleach, and it safely and effectively penetrates fibers and tackles stains such as grease, juice, wine, pet stains, oil and countless other stain-causing agents without leaving a stiff residue. As an added bonus, this amazing product smells GREAT!
Detail tip: Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area. Allow the product to fully penetrate the stained area then blot with a clean absorbent cloth. Re-apply as needed. CAUTION! Pet stains can be tricky. The urine may affect the color of the dye the manufacturer used in the carpet. Proceed with caution.
Leather Lather Leather Cleaner
Just as you would not use sandpaper as part of your daily face cleaning regimen, the same holds true for the soft, luxurious leather interior of your Corvette! Leather Lather’s highly concentrated, pH-balanced formulation gently cleans without the use of harmful solvents or oils and is safe to use on all leather and vinyl surfaces. Its deep penetrating action gently lifts dirt, grease, and surface grime from your leather's delicate pores without removing or damaging natural and valuable oils needed to prevent premature cracking. This product will not discolor, and when used in conjunction with our COWditioner, will pamper and preserve the color, texture, and softness of your leather.
Detail tip: For optimum results, gently remove all surface dirt using a vacuum and Pro-Dust Brush. For those challenging cracks and crevices, our Puffer Airbrush is an excellent tool! As with any leather product, we recommend you test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area first. If surface color or texture changes, discontinue use of this product. Apply using our Micro Fiber Applicator Pad or terry towel, gently rubbing the surface. Wipe the surface, cracks, and crevices using our Elite Super Plush Micro Fiber Towel. Reapply to heavily soiled areas if needed. After this deep cleaning process, we highly recommend using our COWditioner Leather Conditioner for superior protection that Corvette owners demand.
POLISHES

Foundation Formulation
Foundation Formulation** is an incredible product that cleans, polishes, and shines your Corvette paint in one step. This product is carefully formulated to work primarily as a finishing polish designed to gently remove rather than hide your Corvette surface's mild to moderate imperfections, swirls, scratches, and light oxidation. This mild micro-abrasive polish gently smoothes out the edges of paint imperfections that our Paint Prep Cleaner Polish was unable to correct, creating a pristine paint condition. It's wax-free, silicone-free, and body shop safe…guaranteed to deliver the finest true results without any cover-up. This product does not contain protective agents even though it will produce a deep dramatic shine. This is just another step in your surface prep work to guarantee an excellent finish to accept your wax or sealant.
Paint Prep Cleaner Polish
Paint Prep Cleaner Polish** is formulated to work primarily as a correcting polish. Its specially formulated micro-polish qualities will remove minor imperfections and rid the surface of light scratches, oxidation and water spots to prepare your finish for the final coat of sealant or wax without the use of harsh abrasives or silicones. This surface prep product is clear-coat safe and will produce an amazing shine without the use of waxing agents!
Detail tip: **Due to extreme surface glare, we recommend applying these products out of direct sunlight. As with all our polishes and waxes, we recommend applying these products to your Corvette paint in a cool place, 60-80 degrees F with low humidity. Extreme high and low temperatures in the air as well as a hot surface temperature will affect the performance of these products, making them quite difficult to work with.
To achieve the ultimate results, we recommend using our Flex Orbital Polisher or Rotary Polisher Buffer with our Elite Polishing Pad when applying Paint Prep and our Elite Finishing Pad when applying Foundation Formulation using a back and forth motion. (The use of a machine guarantees a better job of removing surface defects more thoroughly and ensures a deeper gloss.) To achieve the perfect surface, begin with our Paint Prep to gently correct minor imperfections followed by our mildly micro-abrasive Foundation Formulation, if needed, that will provide the finishing surface. Work product thoroughly into surface one section at a time. Allow to dry and then buff. Re-apply if necessary. We highly recommend applying our Bulletproof Paint Sealant and then one our superior waxes for that optimum Corvette protection and shine.
CAR WASH
top
The Boss Wash & Gloss
By nature, Corvette owners are finicky about the products that touch their baby! We all know that the first step in preserving your Vette's pristine finish is by routinely washing CAREFULLY by using a top-notch premium car wash. The Boss Wash & Gloss is THE ultimate cleanser, shampoo and gloss enhancer on the market, PERIOD! With its premium sudsing characteristic, this highly concentrated 100% biodegradable citrus formulation is strong enough to loosen and emulsify the toughest grit and grime, eliminating the possibility of scratching the Corvette’s delicate clear coat chemistry yet gentle enough to use on all its painted finishes as well as plastic, vinyl, and rubber, providing the ultimate in surface preparation. And you won't believe the deep gloss and reflective shine it leaves behind! (This is due to the special conditioning agents contained in this product.)
Detail tip: The most effective way to prevent oxidation is to ALWAYS wash your Corvette using a non-detergent premium car wash that is specifically formulated for your Vette's finish such as The Boss Wash & Gloss. To achieve superior results, we recommend using our SchMITTY Wash Mitt with this product. For superior cleansing, we recommend mixing only 1 to 2 oz. in a 5 gallon bucket. For superior drying results, we strongly recommend using an electric leaf blower which eliminates swirls and fine scratches that may occur using inferior drying products. If a leaf blower is not an option, we recommend our Micro Fiber Drying Towel. Its huge size (26" x 32") makes drying a breeze, and its plush waffle weave allows this towel to hold 30% more water than a chamois!
Detail fact: Oxidation takes place as the finish on your Corvette begins to deteriorate. Deterioration can be caused by neglect, exposure to inclement weather, washing with harsh detergents and, of course, natural wear and tear. The most effective way to protect your Corvette's finish aside from routinely washing is to apply a protective barrier 3-4 times a year MINIMUM! (Refer to our fine waxes specially formulated for your Vette's gentle finish.) This will act as a protective barrier, preventing harmful contaminants from coming into contact with your Corvette's surfaces.
