The HyperPAC automatically monitors and records important operating conditions for every run. View virtually any engine or transmission condition or function as an analog or digital gauge and set limits to trigger audible alerts for overheating, low oil pressure, excessive boost, spark knock, or any other monitored condition. The HyperPAC also interfaces with optional Hypertech data acquisition modules to monitor exhaust gas temperatures (Part #89000) and air-fuel ratio (Part #89010). If the “Check Engine” light comes on, the HyperPAC will display a complete description of the diagnostic trouble code and allows you to clear the code and turn off the “Check Engine” light. There’s no need to pay a service technician for most easy-to-repair problems, like failed sensors. Touch-screen operation with menus so simple most people claim you don’t even need the instruction manual.
A high-quality suction-cup mount and a single cable for connecting the HyperPAC to the vehicle’s diagnostic port are included. No splicing into wiring harnesses and, you don’t even raise the hood. Plug in the cable, turn the HyperPAC on, and you’re ready go!

Performance Tuning
Performance Tuning provides all of the features of Hypertech’s legendary Power Programmer™, including the most powerful, 50-State emissions-legal, engine tuning available. For gas vehicles, Hypertech offers engine tuning for both regular and premium octane, and for diesels 3 stages of engine tuning. And for all trucks, Hypertech Power Tuning is developed for towing the maximum weights allowed by the manufacturer. The Performance Tuning program also allows the user to:
- Raise the top-speed limiter to match the speed rating of high-performance tires
- Change the RPM “Rev” Limiter
- Adjust automatic transmission shift points & firmness
- Lower the cooling fan “on/off” temperatures
- Correct the speedometer/odometer for non-stock tire sizes and/or rear gear ratios
The HyperPAC also shows a complete review of all performance selections on one screen before re-programming the vehicle, or to review currently programmed selections.

HyperPAC DA Modules
HyperPAC Data Acquisition (DA) Modules are special function modules for supplying information to the HyperPAC that is not available, or not available quickly enough, from the vehicle’s computer. Any one module mounts under the hood and is connected to the appropriate sensor (temperature, pressure, etc.). A single cable connects this module to the HyperPAC. As additional HyperPAC Modules are installed, each new module connects to the previous Module with a short cable and to the sensor being monitored. Any number of modules may be connected together and used in any order. Install the software and the installation is complete.
HyperPAC Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) DA Module – Part #89000
The HyperPAC EGT DA Module measures exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and displays it on the HyperPAC screen. Contains everything you need; the software, DA Module, one thermocouple with threaded bung and the necessary interface cables. Drilling and tapping is required. With an optional second sensor kit, the DA Module will measure and display a second temperature of your choice such as, oil, intake air on turbo vehicles, a second EGT for the second bank on turbo engines, etc. To monitor more temperatures, connect as many EGT Modules as you need.
HyperPAC Air/Fuel Ratio DA Module – Part #89010
The HyperPAC Air/Fuel Ratio DA Module connects to the HyperPAC and measures and displays the air/fuel ratio for gasoline engines on the HyperPAC screen. Plug and play, the supplied dual-band oxygen sensor is a direct replacement for the factory-installed O2 sensor. The interface cable from the module connects directly to the factory harness connector to provide the air/fuel ratio, to prevent DTCs codes from being set and to meet OBDII emissions requirements. The HyperPAC Air/Fuel Ratio DA Module has everything you need; the software, DA Module, a dual-band O2 sensor and the necessary interface cables. An optional second sensor kit is available for two sensor systems.
