The C5 and C6 Corvettes are fabulous not only on the street, but also on the track. We know that not every Corvette owner is looking for the same experience from their car so our products are designed to offer the ultimate in adjustability and performance.

Aaron Pfadt is the guy behind our products. A mechanical engineer by training and racer at heart, Aaron’s vision for Pfadt Race Engineering is to create products that enhance a driver’s enjoyment of their car – it all goes back to starting with something great and making it better.

PFADT ORIGINAL COIL OVERS

Pfadt Racing brings you one-of-a kind adjustability and performance with our Coil Over Kit. This kit was engineered with the performance street driver and road course racer in mind. As an engineering firm, we don’t believe that an off-the-shelf shock body is the appropriate solution for your Corvette.

Some will tell you that if you’ve got 16 positions of damping adjustment, 15 of them will be wrong. We would argue that for 16 cars you need 16 unique settings, not to mention the needs of dual-purpose (street and track) cars. Our single damping adjuster controls both compression and rebound. The range of adjustment provides a wide choice of damping to accommodate both daily drivers and dedicated track cars. For example, most people like to drive to and from work with our coils set around 8, while for track days they’ll increase the damping to 12.

One of the key advantages of our coil over kit is the flexibility with setting ride height. Our shock bodies are fully threaded and thread into (or out of) the lower mounting cup giving you the ability to adjust the overall shock length by about 3 inches. It’s no problem to maintain stock ride height or slam it nice and low. The important thing about changing ride height by using our threaded body is that you don’t have to sacrifice shock travel to lower the car.

Our “Pfatty” bars are the leaders for serious track day performance. Like many professional teams have already done, step up to our bars and join the ranks of the best racers competing today.

The Pfatty bars offer over 3 times the stiffness of the stock sway bars. They’ll make your car corner flatter and feel more crisp.

These bars are rate-adjustable so you can control the balance of the car by making adjustments to front and rear roll stiffness levels. This allows you to perfect the handling of the car for your tire set up and your unique driving style.

The adjustments are made easy by our custom, Made in the USA end links and can be changed between run sessions. Just loosen the jam nuts, reposition the end links to a different hole in the arm, tighten it up, and you’re on your way.

The Pfatty sway bar kit features CNC machined 7075 Aluminum arms anodized Pfadt orange and laser etched with our logo. They’re extremely strong, light weight and durable. Our end links (like everything in this kit) are Made in the USA and are teflon lined.

The bars feature 4130 Chromoly steel and are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. The ends are carefully splined for a perfect match to the arms. We include polyurethane bushings for a complete install.

SPORT SHOCKS

The Pfadt Adjustable Sport Shock is perfect for autocrossers and street enthusiasts!

In terms of features, these shocks give up nothing to the competitive shocks on the market! These shocks set the new standard for an adjustable sport shock. They are great as a stock shock replacement and a hardcore track shock and everything in between.

If you’re not ready to to make the change to coil-overs, or if your racing class won’t allow them, our Pfadt Sport Shocks are what you need! We’ve taken our proven, proprietary damping technology and applied it to our new adjustable shock.

Our Sport Shocks feature:

  • Inverted body for low unsprung mass
  • 16 points of adjustment with the knob right at the bottom for easy on car adjustments without using any tools
  • Our single point damping adjustment give control of both compression and rebound damping
  • These shocks can be ‘turned up’ for track or autocross use, and ‘turned down’ for street use.
  • Compared to the Koni 3013 Sport, we even feature a lower spherical bearing mount in the front rather than a soft bushing
  • Front lower spherical mount eliminates rubber bushings and provides superior durability
  • Shortened body allows for lowering your car without fear of bottoming out the shock
  • Pfadt Race Engineering proprietary damping and design specifically for the Corvette
